How do I convert a movie from DVR to .x264? - convert dvr
I have recorded a full season of the Chicago Bears on my DirecTV DVR, and I try to convert x264 games. What is the best way to convert x264 games?
I searched the internet and many people say they use a video capture and record things on the computer. I want to keep the definition of high quality instead of S-video to my HD-losing quality.
Suggestions?

Use a video capture card for HD. No way to import data directly from the DVR hard drive for PCs, which can translate into a video file to play on your PC to copy. The data is encrypted on the hard disk DVR, the DVR can not decipher what is visible.
